URI: The Surgical Strike movie 2019 information
URI: The Surgical Strike movie is based on the surgical strike on Pakistan by the Indian army. In 2016, four heavily armed militants from Pakistan attacked the Indian army brigade headquarters near the Uri town which is situated at the Jammu and Kasmir state. This attack is considered as one of the biggest attacks on India and the Indian army lost many soldiers due to this attack. After this unfortunate attack, after eleven days the Indian army carried out a surgical attack on the Kasmir which is occupied by Pakistan. With this surgical strike, Indian Army successfully took revenge against that URI attack. So, this film is made on that plot to let the Indians know the real story behind that brave movement.
On 27th September after completing two years of URI attack, the RSVP Movies production released their teaser for the movie. In this teaser lead actor, Vicky Kaushal is seen as commander in chief of Indian Army battling against the enemies. Before this Vicky also did a role as a Pakistani military man in the film Raazi and it is his second film in the role of an army man. Within three days of release, the teaser got over 3 million views on Youtube. From the teaser, it can be said that the film will be full of action and patriotism.
The Ronnie Skcrewvala who is the producer of this film also made some incredible films like “Paan Sing Tomar”, “Udaan” and “A Wednesday” and this time we can also expect another beautiful movie from him. He said that liked the story and he thought that it should be known by everyone that how India has changed from its past and how Indians come together at the time of any hard situations.
We will also see Paresh Rawal in the role of NSA Mr.Ajit Doval. This man played a great role at the time of the investigation of URI case.
